Cost Of Advertising In Daily Nation, the Standard, Newspapers

Daily Nation and the Standard are Kenya's largest newspapers, with a wide coverage and a high potential that if you advertise your services in them, the response could be overwhelming.

It is estimated that Daily Nation has a circulation of about 205,000 copies daily, whereas The Standard newspaper has a lower circulation, but advertising with them could be a milestone.

Daily nation recently launched a mobile system through which you can send your adverts and pay through mpesa. this makes the matters all the more easier.

So, what does it cost to buy one page advertisement in Daily nation or The Standard Newspapers?

My unconfirmed sources claim that you need a cool Ksh 430,000 per full page or Ksh 250,000 for half a page.

This translates to approx 430 US dollars in Advertising for a full Daily nation Page. Someone with the exact figures is welcome.

What about advertising pricing in the standard?

that's a big money, but there's a probability, that it's a good investment.
you have to estimate your income after advertisement company and then compare them with your real results to understand, if the income is bigger, than all the inverstments.

Advertising a whole page for the first time may not be cost effective. you could start with an eighth and maybe I could ooffer youa space in the first 7 pages. then a quarter page and only after sometime we could move to half and full. Also you could consider friday and sunday depending on nature of products you want to advertise. call me at Nation thro 0719 03 8692
